DANCE FOR ME CHILDREN was one of the highlights of Syreeta, recently reissued by SoulMusic.com. It had single potential, but Motown was looking for a pop hit on Syreeta and missed this one, which could have used some handclapping and some church tambourine to really take it to funksville. Maybe Midnight Johnny will remix it? There have got to be other fans of this forgotten SYREETA track. FYI: If you're looking to get these releases from SoulMusic.com early and cheaper than Amazon.com lists them, Dusty Groove is probably your best bet. It has them before the official release date and deeply discounts them.
