Johnny, Thomas, eh? I didn't realize she remarried. WIth that I'm going to dig into the Detroit Free Press and Detroit News to see if I can find her death notice or obit. I had looked under Edwards last time I attempted that. Thanks for the info.

I think I got her last name from a post by her son, whose last name is Thomas. I don't recall where I saw it, though.

Will do, Johnny, but I don't even know if she passed away in the Detroit area. If she didn't I tend to doubt the Detroit dailies would have carried news of her death. I'll get into the microfilm next week.

Actually, I think she died in Arizona, but since she was a local celebrity [[?), maybe the DFP did a story on her passing.

Johnny, Arizona--I would have never guessed that. Saundra has certainly proven to be elusive. I'll check the Detroit dailies first for any coverage. If I fail there I'll see if one of the larger libriaries in the area have any of the Arizona papers.
