5. AN OLD FAVORITE--
A well-known clip, a favorite of mine, maybe it'll be new to you:
--DMF--
STOP! IN THE NAME OF LOVE
With Mary & Flo looking casually sensational and having a ball in motorized go-carts, plus Diana giving a very definite airline-hostess vibe, accessorized with giant dangle earrings, Courreges go-go boots, and a Sassoon-cut wig to delight and amaze.
Thank you SupremesTouch.

in their familiar-to-many musical performance in BEACH BALL [[1965) singing
SURFER BOY
in the white dresses that they are shown wearing on the I HEAR A SYMPHONY album cover.

Here's a little rare gem. It's of the FLO's [[Jean Terrell, Scherrie Payne and Lynda Laurence) from a show they in 1996. This is the very last time Jean would ever perform as a member of the "Former ladies of the Supremes":

Jean must have been real hurt. Who told her was it Lynda Lawrence? Hopefully you was there to comfort poor Jean. What a terrible thing to do to that sweet lady.

I used to own the complete concert on video. I remember in watching it, I thought Jean was rather 'off' that night? I don't think she had been in the group for awhile as Sundray had been brought in. Lynda and Scherrie sang the last song by themselves....no Jean?

Did anyone catch Cindy Birdsong at 04:44 ?

Honey, I can spot a 60s Supreme a mile away with these eagle eyes ;)

You can also see Freda Payne at 05:25 and 06:25.

I was told by someone who was there that Lynda Lawrence told Jean she would never perform again as a Flos cause she didnt come back for the encore.

Oh my goodness thats terrible. Who told or you that was it another Supreme. Did Lynda tell Jean that in front of everyone or was it in private? I hope it was in private as that would be real embarrassing if Lynda told her that in front of the entire club.

Please share more of this.

Maybe Jean didn't really care as she wasn't in the group at that time....just brought in for this show. Sundray had replaced Jean by then.

Thats right blueskies Jean left the FLOS in 1992 or early 1993 and this was 1996 so maybe she was brought in for just one night.

Yours, with every good wish.

I heard the same thing. The encore was "I'm Gonna Let My Heart Do the Walking", which Jean did not record and refused to do that night. It ended up being Scherrie and Lynda performing the song as a duo. Scherrie sang the lead, while Lynda did the back up as best she could [[remember there were FOUR Supremes singing on the original recording) and doing this sloppy version of what looked like "the Funky Popcorn LOL!!!).

She cared as that show was a benefit.........................for "The FLO's"! LOL! It was put on to raise money for their legal defense fund against Mary. Jean did not want to be involved in the lawsuit, nor did Mary Wilson want to sue Jean Terrell.

Yet Cindy Birdsong had no problem attending this benefit if indeed it was for FLOS defense against mary Wilson. Real odd if you asked me.

Was this the 10th Anniversary show for the FLOS? I recall the 20th Anniversary show was in 2006 at the Fonda Theater in LA. Scherrie, Lynda and Freddie performed, while Cindy, Jean, Susaye and Debbie Sharpe attended. I remember one of the fans in attendance was in complete awe about being in the presence of Debbie Sharpe. And of course that was night Freddie wore that spectacular Blonde afro wig.
