IMO....I think this remix couldn't be worse, and I've felt that way since it was released years ago. The creators squeezed out every ounce of beauty and musicality in this exquisite song and turned it into a noisy, pounding disco-phantasmagoria.

For a dance remix, this was very well done. The 7" remix running 3:51 [[without the long extended intro and long middle break) was modernized with surprising restraint by the Almightly label. The song's great melody and Jean's vocals were kept front and center. The new overdub parts were nicely blended while we still have the original string, horn and guitar parts... Of course, the original stereo LP mix is classic, but this recent remix is very welcome.
