Anyone here buy any of the new remasters? They sound great! They were remastered by the Abbey Road team, the same bunch that did the Beatles remasters last year.

I think I was seven years old in Liverpool when he died..I didnt know who he was but I remember every adult being upset and sensing something big had happened..It hard to describe the feeling in Liverpool at the time but it was tangiable and in the air it was very spooky for a child to witness that emotion from everyone..

When John Lennon was murdered 30 years ago, it was an extremely sad and upsetting time, as I recall, here in the States. The man wrote [[or co-wrote) some wonderful, timeless songs - in and out of the Beatles. But, the ones that meant the most to me were those that were written in his later years. I miss him.

Funny. I posted earlier and it disappeared. Maybe I didn't post it. Hmmm...

I wrote that was in college when he was murdered, but most of my peers weren't as affected by it as they were by the death of John Bonham.

Yoko has done a good job keeping Chapman locked up..I wonder if he feels remorse for what he did..

I doubt it. I think he has made statements to show that he has not remorse, or doesn't understand what he did.
