I don't know when they recorded it. I heard it on the radio back in late 1975. Now back to this recent clip of Martha Reeves!

There is another thread here discussing this and establishes that the song was not recorded until 1976. Someone asked Marv how he heard the song before it was recorded, but he didn't answer. Here is the link

Martha sounds good here. Her voice seems to have improved from a few years ago when some of the Motown singers were at the White House performing.

I listened to WKLR back in those days. That's where I would have heard it.

Great clip...she sounds wonderful! Not too many performers can match Martha's command of the stage. I recently saw another great clip of her performing Love Makes Me Do Foolish Things I believe with just a keybord player. Martha was wearing a blue suit. I cant find the darn clip on youtube.

Martha does sound good. Guess she finally got told the vibrato was too much lol
