The Shirelles and Chantels probably made the biggest impact on other groups and singers
though I adore the Teen Queens Eddie My Love. Too bad they didn''t have as much sucess with their other releases. I am a bit surprised you didn't include The Ronettes. Ass that
Phil Spector turned out to be, he did create a great sonic landscape for these girls..

Oh yeah, I definitely will be including some of the Ronettes' recordings. This first thread is for the years 1956-1961. Ronettes will be on the next thread; they had some nice cuts when they were at Colpix from 61-63. Love Ronnie Spector!
