Ace has another great disc in its songwriters series. The latest one is on Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, another husband and wife songwriting partnership, whose songs were recorded by everyone from Mama Cass to the Righteous Brothers. The thing I enjoy about these sets is that they always include hidden treasures- songs you don't expect. Rock and Roll Lullabye, B.J. Thomas, Just Once, James Ingram, You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling, Soul & Inspiration, On Broadway are just some of their songs.
