I just found an acetate of what I believe to be Ivy Jo doing "Can You Jerk Like Me" made 'famous' by the Contours. Does anyone have any information on this? The disc is very badly warped, cracked, and dirty and I can only hear the second half of the song because of the warping, but it sounds to me like Ivy Jo. Also on the flip side is a title written which is unfamiliar to me called "My love for you has gone [[And it's not coming back)." This side is completely unplayable. Does anyone know of this song? If I figure out how to transfer it to the internet I would very happily do so, but I have no idea how to. Does anyone have any knowledge of him recording "Can You Jerk Like Me", or if it was going to be on his album "Ivy Jo is in This Bag"? Thanks. It doesn't say Ivy Jo on it anywhere, but I am almost positive it is his voice on the part of "Can You Jerk Like Me" that I can hear. Thanks.
