Hello everyone. Millie and I just back from LA and are looking forward to attending the "Motown the Musical" Motown Family Night for the Pre-opening Night Event Celebrating Berry Gordy, the Gordy family and the Motown family. We know we will see many of our Motown friends and will have a great time. Berry Gordy told me a few years ago, he could not have started Motown in any other city but Detroit because of the talent he found here. I had an album out two years ago and toured the US, Canada and Europe but when I am not touring, I lecture at the Motown Museum and play with my group at the Northern Lights Lounge two miles from the Motown Museum. Millie and I went to the Motown 50 year celebration here in Detroit and saw The Temptations, Aretha Franklin singing happy birthday to Berry Gordy and Stevie Wonder singing a duet with Kid Rock. It doesn't get any better than this! We are proud to be from Detroit and proud to be part of the Motown Family.
