Ngroove's poignant, earlier thread sure got me thinking about the late, great Shorty Long. Songs with a smile and a wink--who could ask for more?
Although FUNCTION wasn't a Top 10 hit, it still had its day in the sun. Written by Frederick "Shorty" Long & Edward Holland, Jr.
And the sun shines so brightly once again: A superb version here for your enjoyment and pleasure--beautifully extended and videoed to highlight everything that went into the original. Rendered with the skill, the artistry as only Mosogotam, of course, can do.
The function is by Shorty; junction by way of The Funk Bros.; petticoats--The Andantes.
