For those of you who like to keep on top of all-things-Vandellas, the documentary DIANA VREELAND: THE EYE HAS TO TRAVEL [[2011) is now available on DVD.
This terrifically interesting film about reknown fashion editor Vreeland has a brief segment with then mid-1960s' model-of-the-moment Twiggy. But I thought the segment gets a wonderful shot-in-the-arm by having Martha & the Vandellas' JIMMY MACK setting its pace and mood on the soundtrack. It's an especially lively moment--thanks to that great sound of The Vandellas.
