Good Mornin' Starshines! Well....it IS morning as I put together this blurb for tonight's show. After a couple of
never-before-rerunned "Nighflight" shows with Andy Skurow, George Solomon, and, of course...Mary Wilson,
Susaye Greene and Scherrie Payne, I've had a little time to create a few new extended versions. Tonight, I'll
air these new projects and some of "Nightlfight" favorites and those I haven't played for a while. Hope you

John, Just like the full meal deal from soup to cheese cake, you took your show to the top this evening with The Marvelettes, The Adlibs, Fifth Dimension, Supremes, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, Four Tops and Martha & The Vandellas, Dionne & The Spinners, Roberta Flack among many others!

Of course, after our conversation, the Smokey Robinson song he performed live at the Burnaby, B.C., Canada Blues Festival a few years back, I couldn't recall, popped up in my mind again. It was a totally reworked and reimagined "The Love I Saw In You Was Just A Mirage." He had a rock guitar interlude and I would say most of the outdoor crowd had no idea this was an early Miracles recording. Sadly, my youtube searches have not turned up any video catching this magical musical moment. Maybe you could work some of your magic on this sometime...............
