Luke - That's an absolutely sensational video. Thank you so much for posting. Not having ever seen it before, watching it now brought back the exact same excitement I used to get when I would see my favorites on The Lloyd Thaxton Show, Shinding!, Hullabaloo, Bandstand, and local dance shows like Jerry Blavat's Discophonic Scene and The Hy Lit Show. And Brenda has always been one of my favorites. That intense beauty of spirit + voice + physicality + talent is still in full force and effect as evidenced in the lovely PBS performance that Misty posted. Brenda has always been the real deal, the genuine article because she, herself, has always been genuine. She is truly exceptional. The rarest of flowers.
