Very welcome. Welcome home or back to the forum. Just welcome. You were missed and some of us always brought your name up at every chance we could. Everything is fine [[knocks wood) in M-town. My dad and uncle had health challenges at the same time, but God is good. Both are doing well today. My uncle still has some issues, but we stay on him.
Daddy is busy with my two boys. When I first joined the forum, neither was even born. So you know I've been busy. Hope your family is well too.

Jumping back to post #16 .... the Vibrations are over here in the uk in just over a month [[playing a NS weekender).
Guess their line-up is much changed from when they were in the studio recording "Suprise Party".
Got to know the song's co-writer Gene Dozier about 20 years back when he was living in Vegas and did a massive article on his long & interesting music career.
Lost touch with him though when he left Vegas. Anyone know where he's based these days and what he's up to ??

Unfortunately not. I used to be on the team that ran the weekender, but the company got taken over & the event was dropped. The 'new' management have now tried to resurrect the event 'on the cheap' [[Carl & his guys + Ronnie McNeir are the live acts this time whereas we used to have 5/6 acts on over the 3 days).
So, the new lot are running it directly themselvs with a couple of NS guys acting as paid consultants .... I don't get on with one of them [[who's an old bootlegger who has deprived many writers / artists of royalties) & on principal I don't attend events he has a hand in.
Loads of UK NS fans are going though and for Carl & Ronnies sakes, I hope the acts are well looked after [[the fans will certainly treat them very well).

Back in the day, "The Vibrations" were one of the greatest acts to ever hit the stage, what fantastic shows they put on!

Misty, you should do a thread on them and tells us about your great adventures, well...anything you'd like to share. :o
