Baby Washington's great 60s-spin on the 1934 jazz standard written by Arthur Schwartz & Howard Dietz. It was released as the B-side to her recording LEAVE ME ALONE.

Not bad, though I prefer Frank Sinatra’s version of the song on his 1961 album Ring a Ding Ding.

I like Baby Washington a lot. I think I posted about her just last month and got great information from Ceasar and Juicefree. She's still kickin' and sounding good as always. She had that kind of voice that gets in your head. I LIKE Leave Me Alone.

I adore Justine "Baby" Washington and all the songs you mention above. She is still in fine voice. Here is a duet or her original song "The Time" she did with my boss Eugene Pitt. They are backed on the record by Eugene's group The Jive Five.

THERE HE IS is very special, I agree. Great that you posted it, Oldies. Baby has such wide range, and this one shows it to full advantage. She sings with real assurance, every step of the way. Thanks again, Oldies, for highlighting the way.
