The Ross clip may be from a few years back. Not sure when.

But the Lupone clip you added here is really quite something. A really unique theatre moment, to say the least. Mesmerizing. It got a lot of press coverage when it happened. But this is the first time I'm hearing it "live." Many thanks, Mary, for posting the link. Listened to it several times already.

Patti's response is breathtaking. She's always come across as professional and I personally think she is an amazing woman and performer. I can understand her frustration and I know we all reach our breaking point. I don't recall how long ago this incident was, but it's a sign of the times how things have changed with cameras and cell phones and recording devices. Years ago, you'd never be let into a place with a camera; now I think almost every phone comes equipped with one.
