Question for HW regarding Marvin and Tammi

The mastering of Tammi's Come On And See Me 2 CD set is outstanding. When comparing You Ain't Living Till You're Loving on Come On And See Me with the duet version on Marvin and Tammi's The Complete Duets the duet version seems to lack vibrancy.

My question is... was more remastering work undertaken on the Come On And See Me set than The Complete Duets?

Just thinking, is the difference in sound quality associated with the original process to "duetise" the original solo version?

I'd have to go back and listen and consider the room, the times, the material. For now: is it a matter of level?

Harry, it's the clarity of the sound that is so much better on Come On And See Me. I'm not sure about the levels.
