WHOOPS! THE DATE SHOULD READ 20TH - APOLOGIES!
After sending it out to people in the business and getting a very good response from all concerned, I'm pleased to announce that John Perrone will be playing the entire song tomorrow. I've produced and released over 40 tracks with the ladies and have to say that this new recording is one of my favorites I chose 'Dance With My Father' for Scherrie - she loves the song [[who doesn't?!!) and special guest vocalist duet-ting with Scherrie is her lovely daughter SHOSHANA PAYNE PHILIPS. Shoshana is an accomplished singer and has her own vocal coaching studio in LA. I hope those of you who listen will like this new offering which I arranged and produced with a 'Supremes' feel to it. I don't know what time John will play it during his show but hope it fits in with all the great classic Motown stuff he entertains us so well with. I was very happy when I sent the track out to GEORGE SOLOMON, ANDY SKUROW and SHARON DAVIS - they all really like it and wait 'til you hear Scherrie's amazing vocal! The contrast of styles between Mom and Daughter works very well but don't take my word for it - have a listen tomorrow night! Stoned Love, Steve Weaver, UK.
