Am curious: how did the Temptations rate, with 3 television specials in less than one year?

TCB was December 1968.
The Temptations Show was June 1969.
On Broadway was November 1969.

I don't mean the question disrespectfully; we all know how talented the group was. But was there a reason for such a push on the Tempts during this period?

the number of big HIT records and the rating success of TCB.Musicals & Variety shows were big in the 60's-70's.
