Wow!!! That is a nice memory as i talked to Mary on her way into the Awards that year! i was trying to get tickets into the balcony section for the show at the Shrine. Never did, but being able to talk to Mary for a couple of minutes was nice. i moved back to LA, a couple of months after that.

Great story Greg and thanks. Yes I remember watching it. Mary looked gorgeous! I had a chance to attend the Grammy's that year but could not get a flight out!!!

I loved how the organisers tried to link the presenters to nominations of people they worked with or were related to..it was always a nice touch when they won like Dionne announcing Whitneys first Grammy win..just a simple touch that made the moment a little more magical..
