Anyone out there know anyting about this group?

Presumably these are the COOPERETTES who did "Shing A Ling" on Brunswick ..

The song has been posted on You-tube ..

It was one of Weldon MacDougall's "Harthon" productions so presumably they were from Philly ..

One of the posters on that You-Tube link states that the group are his/her Mother and Aunts so no doubt he/she will know a lot more. :)

Under another youtube clip it states this ....
THE COOPERETTES ARE 4 SISTERS: JANETTE, DEBBIE, TINA AND ANGIE, THAT WERE MANAGED BY THEIR MOTHER ETHYL WHO ARRANGED A RECORDING CONTRACT WITH A MAJOR LABEL BRUNSWICK RECORDS. THEY STARTED OUT AS A GOSPEL GROUP.
