That was very interesting. I knew nothing of the Twin Cities music scene prior to Prince.

I live in Minneapolis and attended the sold out record release show on Sept.22. Let me say the band made up of veteran Twin cities musicians was phenomenal. The performers included The Valdons and Willie Walker who recorded for Goldwax and Chess while working day jobs in St.Paul and commuting to record in Memphis and Chicago in the 60's.The show was packed with people of all ages,even the Mayor. The after show party across the street with the Hot Pants dj's took us all the way til closing time. What a riot .One of the best nights this year for everyone who was lucky enough to attend!
