Saw this in the NYT, glad to see that the Supreme's have not been forgotten.

What a great, not-often-seen picture of Mary and Cindy. Interesting that Cindy would still be in stagewear [[her gown looks very similar to the white, buglebead gowns) while Mary would be in "streetwear".

Mary is and will be receiving a lot of press here in America for her exhibition and good for her!

Cindy sure did have a stunning figure! I'm glad she developed her own look in the 70s. From 1967-69, it was obvious she was copying Florence's look for the sake of the group look. She really came into her own once Diana left.

The picture was taken when The Supremes performed at the Royal Albert Hall in London. This pic was taken before the show. Princess Margaret [[or the Fag Hag as she's known in the UK) left the show before the Sups/Tops had finished their performance. No doubt she had another appointment with a few bottles of gin and HAD to honour that engagement. She was a joke to the Royal family. During this trip the Sups/Tops also recorded 'You Gotta Have Love In Your Heart' and 'River Deep' for a BBC 'Top of the Pops' episode which was broadcast in 1971 but then the tape was wiped in the late 70's to be re-used [[cost-cutting exercise ). Much of that era of Top of the Pops was lost forever. Also sad because J/M/C also performed 'Stoned Love' live and Stevie had a whole episode devoted to him. All gone. How sad is that..?

That's awful. It's like painting over a Picasso just to reuse the canvas. Tragic!
