Does she ever really leave? Between her Supremes duties, gigs with the Motowners [[or as I put it Phauxtowners), and solo gigs at rib shack parking lots she is one of the hardest working women in entertainment today. Hard to make a comeback if you never left.

Any truth to the rumor she is teaming up with a Brandy lookalike for her straight to Netflix/Swap Meet Bootleg Table feature film debut, "Double Parked?"

She is probably quite pleased with the publicity this forum has brought her ~ any publicity is good publicity.

A clinger and hanger on of the worst kind ~ in the same sense as Tony Turner and Karen Ragland and those kinds.

She plays gigs in parking lots and I think she may have said she replaced Diana Ross in the Supremes LOL.

I think these threads have helped get her name out there in the public and showing up on Google; she's probably quite thrilled.

I doubt she could even have made it into the Sounds of the Supremes or any other tribute group of Supremes as a replacement. I'm sure Mary cringes if she has ever seen parts of Shantel "shake" during a song.

This is for Nosey and anyone else that has not had the 'pleasure'. I'm sad to say the parking lot 'concert' doesn't seem available anymore. Oh well...this is a close runner up. Turn up the sound and get yourself some Tylenol.

She replaced Freda Payne as lead singer in the Supremes after auditioning at the Apollo in the 80's.

Wasn't this appearance brought to our attention a few months back?

Personally, I'm starting to warm to Shantel ... she seems to have got over her delusion that she used to be in THE SUPREMES and is performing music that has a more 1980s sound.

I don't think she is the greatest vocalist in the world but I have heard a lot worse ..
