I've long been a fan of Darren Hayes [[the former frontman of Savage Garden who has also recorded four solo albums), and was thrilled to see he'd recorded a cover of Diana Ross's marvelous Love Hangover. Darren was influenced by classic soul growing up, and I wish he'd record a soul-inspired pop album one of these days...
I feel he's done a good job of blending classic Motown disco with a slightly edgier, modern-dancefloor-friendly update. The only thing I would have liked to see would have been more of the original backing track used.
