Well gang, we're now 10 years old. Hard to believe another year has passed but the calendar does not lie. thanks to all of you for your participation.

Congratulations on the first 10 years, Ralph.

First thing I do when I open up the computer each morning is log in, to see what's happening here.

More than pleased to be a part of it all!

Many Happy Returns.

Time flies when you're enjoying yourself.

I thought we started in late 2001, or a lot earlier in 2002 than the end of September?

To tell the truth Robb, I'm not entirely certain. It seems I have fallen into an October first start date. Close enough I think.

October 1 sounds correct to me, but from 2001, rather than 2002. We still have posts in the "saved" archives from as early as Mach 17, 2002. So, clearly, our 10th anniversary can't be today. It was no later than 3/17/2002. But, I seem to remember the forum operating in late 2001. I seem to remember many of the earliest posts having been lost when Lowell encountered the memory problem, or during the changeover to the new platform/format.

Also, am I crazy, or do I also remember correctly several of us congratulating Lowell, Ralph, David and the rest of us for 10 years of SDF many months ago?

Let's see if we can figure it out this way. I came on board just after the opening of SITSOM, which celebrates it's 10th anniversery of it's release November 15th. How far does SDF predate the movie?

Not that it matters. Although I don't post as often as I used to, I'm still looking and learning every time I log in, which means daily. Congrats to everybody for making this one of the best music information sources on the web.

Wow, I think you may be right, Robb. Is this #11? I thought that I had remembered a number 10 celebration, also. Damn...Senior moments on steroids.

Yep! I'm sure we're now at 11. But we can celebrate that, too! Right?

Congrats! I wish I discovered this forum 10 years earlier than I did. A creature of habit, I religiously check the same 6-8 sites everyday and this is generally the first one. The "Word Association" thread in the Clubhouse is like internet crack to me and a few others.

Happy 11th [is that settled now?] birthday, for me it's 6 1/2 when I bought my first PC. Anyway all the best Ralph & crew you're doing some stirling work, long may it continue.
