I've tried posting this 2 times already and when I got to submit it, it says I'm not logged in, even though I had logged in. I'll be very brief this time. She was great! No photo collage; no tribute; no talking and no encore. The concert was 75-80 minutes with 5 gown changes and 2 boa changes. The venue was sold out, seating 5,000, and she was performing the next night too.
She had 4 horns, grand piano player, keyboard player; bass, guitar; drummer and a percussionist and 3 singers. She started with I'm Coming Out at the top of a staircase, and finished with I Will Survive. She was having trouble hearing the band for the 1 st three songs and kept trying to get the sound better [[this must have been disconcerting), but she didn't stop smiling or being engaged with the audience. She harmonized with the background singers and let the lead in some places [[most notably The Boss where she get screechy) -- they did a very nice job and made the song very enjoyable. By the end of the evening I think my ears were bleeding it was so loud.
I flew 1500 miles, rented a car and drove 120 miles and I think I got my money's worth. My partner even enjoyed her again, after only seeing her in May.

Thanks for your review and update-----Diana seems to go with what she is feeling that night and it seems that she is getting better as the tour continues.

Thank you for sharing your review with us, Lorne! ;) My friend went to both shows at Rama and she said Diana was terrific both nights! She said the second night was even better than the first.

Diana's tour is coming to Florida dates in November, Sarasota, Clearwater, Tampa,
Melbourne, Hollywood, Miami.
Accoriding to an article in the Orlando Sentinel this past Friday, announcing her
performance at the King Center in Melbourne, the tour is now called "More Today
Than Yesterday".
It is interesting that some of the dates are in cities very close to one another
such as Clearwater and Tampa.
Also, the same time she is here in Florida Mary Wilson will be in Orlando from
Nov. 18th-22nd.

Are you planning on seeing them both Randy?

Geez -- I knew I should have stayed for the second performance. I wonder what she did during the day? It's a nice community on Lake Simcoe; maybe she went for a yacht ride or something.

No, I will only go to one show, probably in Melbourne on Friday, Nov. 19th. That is the closest venue to where I live
in Central Florida, the Orlando area.

Oops! I answered wrong! I thought you meant two different venues for Diana. Yes, I will go see Mary too!
:)

Also, Diana is in Naples, FL on the 16th of Nov.

Hi Randy: We're going to be in Miami to go on cruise on Dec. 21. Is there a web entertainment site you know of that we could check to see if anyone is playing in Miami. Thanks,
Lorne

Randy, I believe this year's tour has always been called "More Today Than Yesterday..." Or more specifically "More Today Than Yesterday: A Greatest Hits Tour."

Hi, for entertainment in Miami you might try checking the Miami Herald. Their Sunday edition usually has an entertainment
section called the Lively Arts. I am sure it is available on line.

Yes, I see now the name of the tour is the same. I had a friend that went to see her near Atlanta in June and told
me it was called the Greatest Hits tour. He obviously left off the first part--More Today than Yesterday.

Anyway, she keeps getting great reviews. I am looking forward to seeing her again.
