I recently read in Groovesville USA that there was a project underway by the Original Historic Music Society of Detroit to release a series of CDs connected to Carmine Murphy. Is there any momentum or is this incorrect? Anyone know?

I don't know if there is one. But there SHOULD be. She did a LOT to get music [[especially the Gospel/Spiritual variety) out to the public. A lot of young producers and singers owe their starts in the business to her.
