They have more non-Supremes songs than Supremes songs! Although their choreography is not half-bad.

I've not been aware of 'The Motellas' before.

I can't comment on 'blacking up' , as the singers still appear white to me, though possibly using heavy fake tans.

It's not quite there yet. Some changes are needed with the rather stereotypical gowns and choreography. There's too much use of microphone stands, and the finale of the act is spoiled by the other people coming on stage..... but 'fiasco' is certainly not a word I'd use.

I'm hearing three strong, talented voices there. While it's hard for me not to associate other, and very favourite voices with those songs, I'd say the ladies of 'The Motellas' , as a tribute act, are more than adequate as entertainers...and much better than 'The Super Supremes'

I'd be happy to take time to listen to them....:)
