That was the best medley to introduce the new group. I always loved that and was disappointed it wasn't included on The Best Of The Supremes on Ed Sullivan DVD. It used to be on youtube but I haven't seen it in a long time. Thanks.

Thank you for posting this!! I used to have this on a VHS tape, and am so mad they did not put this on the Ed Sullivan DVD to show they had it "live" as well!!

I was happy to find it, I hope it doesn’t get yanked from youtube anytime soon. I”m not crazy about the showtune stuff they did, but the selection of songs for the medley were perfect to introduce Jean Terrell and make a mission statement about the new group lineup.

No they didn't
Sullivan left the airways in June of 1971,bad timing for The Supremes, but they should have gotten a spot to debut "Everybody's Got The Right To Love": they didn't get the chance to push the second single on national tv anywhere, and the title of "Stoned Love" surely frightened the always uptight Sullivan people..and by 71, Ed was gone and so was Motown's "Supremes showcase",although I doubt that Gordy cared about the group by that point, if ever, really..

Weren’t ratings for Sullivan falling during the show’s last two years? It was probably time for the show to pack it in by 1971.
