I see Bunny's visage in the Trammps photo..... I surmise he has joined the Trammps following the passing of Jimmy. Anybody know if this is so? If it is the case, I can think of no better person than Bunny with his Philaldelphia background, personal history and close connections with The Trammps

I saw Bunny performing with the Trammps many years ago. So unless I'm mistaken, he isn't replacing Jimmy. The guys in the photo here are the same ones I saw, and the bald one on the left was doing the leads.

Maybe there is more than one group of Trammps out there?

I think he's been performing with them for some time, Mike, that is the version of the group that didn't include Jimmy Ellis. So no, he didn't replace him.

The first time I had seen Bunny Perform live in many a year was a few years ago on PBS special with the Trammps. I know that he still records and performs alone though.

Yes, Bunny performs with Earl Young's version of the Trammps and has been doing so for a number of years. Jimmy Ellis stopped performing @ 2008/9 when he starting having symptoms of Alzheimers. RIP Mr. Ellis loved, loved your voice.

I last saw Bunny a couple of years ago in Stanford University.....singing in Othello with Uri Caine, and wearing some extravagant Napoleonic type of attire with a face mask :confused: Here's the evidence! Still brilliant of course.

I remember when our highly loved, enormous person and artist Weldon McDougal [[RIP) explained here on SDF for all of us that Bunny was doing... OPERA!

What a multi-talented artist. I never tired to heard, almost, his "Sweeter Than The Berry" CD compilation with the best of him in his PIR days. He deserves an entire thread about his vocalist career and also as a multi-instrumentist [[guitar, piano,...) and songwriter-producer [[O'Jays, Shirley Jones, Instant Funk, Southshore Commission,, The Pips, Gabor Szabo, Curtis mayfield, Barbara Mason, Mystique,...).

About the different Trammps line-ups [[obviously no one like the great gospel singer JIMMY ELLIS leaded!!) I have seen a version leave by Jimmy Williams from Double Exposure [[with the Wade bros.). I wonder also [[I'm almost but not 100% sure if Jimmy from Double Exposure is the same than the famous PIR and Trammps bass player...?)

Did Earl Young play drums on the Tramps records, and does he still play drums when they perform live? Or is he up front singing with the group? Does he sing lead?

I Met Mr Sigler in Monterey during one of his trips to visit Eva...his Daughter.

Eva and I did some recording work together on several Duets....Eva definitely inherited her Fathers vocal skills.
Talked to Eva last week and she wants to do some more Studio recordings.
Hopefully I can collaborate with John Wineglass or Billy Washington on some New Material for Eva

Bunny Sigler has an amazing voice and in my opinion he is one of those UNSUNG Artists.

His contributions to the Philly Sound are Numerous and Valued.

He wrote that Classic Song "I Guess You Got Your Hooks In Me for The O'Jays...Listen to it on You Tube...WOW...WOW WOW!
