First of all, I hope I got your name right. Hopefully you or someone else can tell me the details about a mid-June Denise CD I just read about entitled "At Her Best."
The only details I know so far are that it will only be a $10.97 list price and it is on Ecko, that label she was on before she re-joined Malaco. So my guess is that it will merely recap some of her songs from her time at that label and is not likely to contain anything new. I also wonder if it is maybe being released to fulfill a contractual obligation.
It also occurred to me that maybe Denise and the entire Malaco roster are perhaps "on hold" due to their studio being destroyed by a tornado a year or two ago. So maybe this new release, whatever it is, is designed to fill the void until she can release a new studio CD.
