I have been biting my lip, tongue and knuckle over this dude for a good long time now. [[Mainly because he is from Michigan), but now I think he has gone too far in commenting about the President. What do you think?

He needs to go back to cat scratch fever. I like him as a musician but I have always thought he tried to reinvent himself when he got his radio show and I dont have a problem with that. Personally I think he is just riding the right wing bandwagon and bucking for attention but he did go too far.

Ted is a first class jerk. He should be ashamed of himself.

Ted is a first class jerk. He should be ashamed of himself.

And a third rate musician and performer.

He’s an insane gun nut, that’s all. Not many celebrities align themselves with the NRA so that organization has to take what it can get, no matter how much of a has been or Z list they may be. Ted’s stance and utterings do give him what he craves most: Attention.

I hear all of you and appreciate your responses. I am not kidding, I have had a time over the years trying to not really dislike him intensely, but I give up! Even with all the animals I've seen him brag about killing on local TV in Southwestern Michigan, his political views are so Far Right, that he is starting to sound mentally unbalanced. Just my opinion.

I still don't know why so many right wingnuts hate the president so much. He hasn't tried to take their guns away as they were afraid. One told me that "he wants to rewrite the constitution". Even if he did, he can't. So, what's with all of the salty feelings?

Oh, he said worse, vile things about Obama last year! But, this is the first time he's said anything that sounds like a death threat.

What's so perplexing is that right after Obama was inaugurated, Nugent got on TV and said some very positive things about Pres. Obama. I remember the interview.

I can't exactly say Nugent is a racist, or birther, but he sure has affiliated himself with both over the last couple of years. He has fairly recently gone on White supremacists radio shows, rallied with tea-baggers, and is, of course, a radical NRA gun-nut.

I have zero respect for him, his music, his talent, or anything about him after this. before, I figured he was just a misunderstood survivalist, but now, he's the image of everything he says about Obama.

The NRA, and the paranoids and racists, are all convinced that Obama is a socialist/communist, and is going allow the godless Muslims to take us over by disarming American citizens. They really believe this. These people don't look at facts, logic, or reason, they operate on fear and hatred.

Truth. They have that "he can have my guns when he pries them from my cold, dead fingers" mindset. Okay, Joe the Plumber, I'll break it down so you can understand it: He doesn't want your guns. Even if he did, he would have to engage in civil war to get them from you and it's be too hard to tell who was on his side. It doesn't make sense. He, unlike you, is not stoopid.

I have always respected his talent, but as for his politics, I wish he'd take Frank Zappa's advice...'SHUT UP AND PLAY YER GUITAR!!'

Best,

Mark
