At 70, Aretha still remains a vital source in music today. Some fans may consider her self produced recording, "A Woman Falling Out Of Love," released on her own Aretha Records a misstep because of the great difficulty obtaining a copy. It appears that Aretha and Clive Davis are in serious discussions in working together again. In addition, her landmark recording, "Who's Zommin' Who," is slated to be re-released in an expanded 2 CD disc format, featuring all the 12" remixes spawned from that project. Much as her rare Columbia 45 rpm single "One Step Ahead," The Queen of Soul remains one step ahead! Happy Birthday Aretha!
