the Supremes did "Rainbow" and she sang it again decades later at the Oscars..thats the only Arlen connection i can think of..we know from Hip O that there is hardly any unreleased studio Supremes material left in the vault [[besides alt takes)..first ive ever heard of this...sorry Im skeptical..

She says she recorded a whole album of Harold Arlen songs before she left Motown.
I think she mentioned it should be released for Harold Arlen's centennial which was in 2005.

This has definitely been rumoured to exist for many years.

But I've never heard Andy or George talk of it; if they are on an MJ show again soon, we need to remember to ask them.

I remember reading about this album. I think she recorded it in the early 90's?

It might have been around 1993 or so. RECORD COLLECTOR did a profile on her around that time, and I believe the Arlen project was mentioned.
