LOVE NEVER SAYS GOODBYE / Writer and producer unknown
PASS IT ALONG / Writer and producer unknown

HEARTBREAK OF LOVE [[Year of recording, unreleased) [[Lead: Dionne Warwick, Mary Wilson)
I would love to complete my collection.

P.S. you missed a very unlikely guest apperance on a Christmas album by Joe Dolce [[Shuddapa Ya Face)- Jingle Bell Rock [[1981)
also 2 duets with Human Nature: It Takes Two River Deep - Mountain High [[2007)
Ernie Crouch & Revival - Tell It To The Mountain [[2009)

Mark, some recent recordings are missing from the list because that discography was completed around 2003-04.
"Can We Talk About It", I think I have.

"Here's My Love, Pass It Along" I believe was one of those charity/relief recordings [[ala "We Are the World") that Mary did with a large group of Latino and other World artists to benefit famine relief efforts in Africa.

I know about the song she recorded with Dionne, but I don't have it or the others on your list.

Ah ha! I noticed no one mentioned, "Where Is It I Belong" from 1975. A great song that seems to be quite popular with the "general public". I like it as well but as Carlo said, it is very difficult to pick only 10.

Well Mary Wilson always had lots of plans - what was it? She nearly got Borderline or Holiday to record? She had Marvin Gaye producing an album for her? She had this record deal but the label folded before it got off the ground etc. And the Dionne Warwick story.*

Other memories often differ - likely because they weren't as important to Marvin Gaye or Dionne Warwick or Madonna as "they might have been" to Mary Wilson.*

Might have beens are what they are - nothing.*

It's just like The Josephine Baker Story was for Diana Ross - nothing. But Diana Ross had lots of other things going on that made big bangs - Lady, Central Park, "diana", Mahogany, Out of Darkness, a bunch of hit singles etc. Mary's things just generally didn't work out.*

Maybe in retrospect she also should have tried to keep Florence in the group, keep Cindy in the group, gone out on her own when the name "Supremes" was a meal ticket - but they are all "might have beens" that weren't.*

And no, it's not negative - just fact.

Thanks Marv. I found out that Ken Sutherland wrote HERE'S MY LOVE, PASS IT ALONG and it was recorded with Billy Preston and several others.

"In 1985, Sutherland wrote and produced the song, “Here Is My Love, Pass It Along,” which he recorded with a number of artists who were either born or bred in Texas, including: Steven Stills, Billy Preston, Jerry Jeff Walker, B.J. Thomas, Shelly Duval, Alex Harvey, Charley Pride, Mary Wilson, the Gatlin Brothers and Sami Jo Cole to name just a few. The project raised money for The North Dallas Food Bank"

I've never heard it, but it was supposedly recorded in Brazil. In the late 80's, early 90's. Mary and Dionne were on this guy Gordon's show [[I can't remember his last name) and Dionne sang a song I'd never heard, but Mary seemed to know all of the words.

That's it! That's right. I only saw the video for the song once on E.T. or a show like that back in the 80's. I never had it. Maybe try Ebay?

If it came from that person, don't even start believing it if he has to do with Mary.

Revisiting one of my favorites, "Pick Up The Pieces". It had that Teddy Pendergrass, "Close The Door" flavor to it...

You picked some really good ones! "We Should Be Closer Together" should be on my list and "My Lovelife Is A Disaster" was another great one. I recorded the 'fly on the wall' video at that session - I should dig it out and post it somewhere...

Wow! I am sure I did this list, up to 2000. How did you get it? Lol. Oh, maybe we have been internet friends, I sent it to Mary for her website and to share it with everybody, but nobody paid any attention to me. I guess they prefer to keep the one they have, which does not list many, many recordings. How increible...!

I even made an "Anthology" of 4 or 5 CDs, seeing that nobody had ever done one, any cat has a compilation or "best of" release. Once I saw a copy for sale on eBay, lol, I wrote to the guy to be careful with bootleg material.

PART 2 FOLLOWS - I HAD TO CUT IT

Mary Wilson has an impressive body of work, that nobody has ever cared to compile, more than 60 years recording in studios, many times songs that are outstanding. I feel so sorry when I go to sites like YouTube and I see recordings by people with no talent who had a contract to a label, and releases, and it was so difficult for her. I once wrote to David Nathan, and he said, "Send me a list and I'll see what I can do". It was many years ago. I made the list but I did not hear from him anymore.

In any case for me she is an icon of strength and endurance, an admirable woman, with books, noble causes, new ideas, going back to college to get a grade, singing and being interviewed so often... she is always willing and cheerful. I do not care what she has done or does wrong. Her good work is what matters, her struggle to overcome privation, rejection and prejudice. [[My only complaint is her wigs, I wonder if she is bald by now...) She is not sitting at home, saying "I am a diva". No, that woman is out there, doing her stuff.
