So, was this her only appearance?

It's Never Too Late looks lip synched. But Endless Love appears to be live.

Seems many Soul Trains were singing to a tape or song.

I seem to remember an entire hour devoted to her when "The Boss" album was released; she only did the show once or twice ,though, as I recall, she was on her Broadway/Streisand /Movie Star trip though most of the SOUL TRAIN years..

Are you sure this is Soul Train? Its funny this is the only song I remember seeing her sing on Soul Train but I thought she was wearing something else.

If I recall correctly there is a video somewhere of "You Love Is So Good For Me" with just the Soul Train dancers.

She appeared on SOUL TRAIN twice. Once back in the 70s for a quick interview. And then, this appearance in 1981 when a whole hour was devoted to her. I think she lipsynced both IT'S NEVER TOO LATE and ENDLESS LOVE.

That said, there were many live performances on the show, right up through the 90s.

Not to me. The audio in the clip sounds a bit sped up. But I believe that she is lipsynching to the solo rendition found on her WHY DO FOOLS FALL IN LOVE album.
