Aretha presnts Labelle, Stylistics, Three Degrees

Tonight on PBS-Soul Rewind. I only caught the last half hour but what great clips--the best Lady Marmalade Ive ever seen and Russell T incredible. All the clips seemed to be shot in some small intimate nightclub in the 70s[[original clips). Also Spinners and Chilites. Aretha hosting a look back. At the end brief clips of Vandellas, it looked like Flo Ballard to me singing,Johnnie Taylor...I imagine I missed those from earlier in broadcast. Aretha had long hair and looked heavier than most recently. Has anyone seen this show??

Marv - I undersatand that Tony Turner is now at times working with THE THREE DEGREES - also I have heard that he is part of Valerie Holiday's solo venture in New York in October. In addition my source who is close to Turner - states that he continues to work with Dennis Edwards Temptations Review - and was out on the road with them last month and is scheduled to be with them this month as well. It seems the outspoken DIVA is still in demand!!!!
