Chaka khan working on duets cd

The next project from Chaka Khan will be a duets project. So far she has recorded a Led Zeppelin remake with Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler. She's also recorded with AKON & Snoop Dogg [[can't wait to read your comments on that lol). I love Steven Tyler but I hope she has more real singers on this project.

I love Chaka, but I can't stand duets albums. That concept is so tired/overdone. The concept of jazz cover albums is tired as well. I want a new Chaka album with all original material.

There are people I would love to hear Chaka duet with, like Dennis Edwards and Jeffrey Osborne. The never released version of Addicted To Love with Robert Palmer would surely be a treat to hear. The names mentioned as collaborators so far on the project sound like a mismatched disaster. It's a shame she doesn't hold out for David Foster to produce an entire tuneful project of hers with collaborators who can really sing.

sorry, I never considered her much of a singer, saw her & Rufus in person at their height & was not impressed.I did like the Womack song she recorded in early 80's, but I always thought her sister Taka Boom was much better vocally.
