There may be some here familiar with the movie "Blue valentine" & the "lost" song, "You & Me" which gained quite a bit of popularity through its inclusion in the movie.
Numerogroup released some releases obtained from Bill Moss' Ohio's Capsoul label & upon its release it didn't set the world on fire saleswise. Penny & The Quarters, the group behind the song were a mystery, as the record was pretty much a 1970 demo which remained on a reel-to-reel, until its eventual release in 2007.
However, "Blue Valentine" star Ryan Gosling fell in love with it & suggested it serve as the love song of the movie lovebirds for the 2010 movie, causing it to attain cult-like status with movie goers in the process. Finally, after 4 years, the veil of mystery has been removed, as the group members have been identified.
