Hello Soulful Detroit friends,

Happy November to all! Daeida Magazine is back this month with a special double-cover featuring EDNA WRIGHT and DARLENE LOVE in our November 2011 issue. We're honored to feature the sisters in their first professional photo shoot together in over 30 years plus include in-depth exclusive interview with each artist about their respective careers. The whole issue is all Darlene and Edna with words/tributes from Fanita James [[The Blossoms), Blinky Williams, Bill Medley [[Righteous Brothers), Dionne Warwick, Shelly Clark [[Honey Cone), Carolyn Wills [[Honey Cone) and Nancy Sinatra. The interviews are truly in-depth and the pics are full page images from their shoot earlier this year. Darlene covers a lot about her Phil Spector years and Edna goes into the history of her career as "Sandy Wynns" through "Honey Cone" and beyond.

As always, you can view the entire issue/articles/images online for free at www.daeida.com [[we've NEVER charged to view to online edition, always free!) but the print edition with cool bookmark/postcards is available to order. Have a look -- see the pics/read the interview -- at www.daeida.com. [[NOTE: View the online edition in "full screen mode" to see it better. Looks way better in print, but in the online version "full screen" is best).

This was by far one of the most exhaustively personal and exciting issues we've put out. Truly a labor of love and most of all: a lot of fun. Celebrate Edna Wright! Celebrate Darlene Love!

LMBO smark21...nevertheless, they do look great. Thankfully, post production didn't over do it

Not necessarily. I'm 64 and have no wrinkles or crow's feet; however there is a little gravity working against me but none of my co-workers believe that I'm old enough to retire next year.
