My father Don Palmer worked with him for so many years. He was like family. Terrific musician in all genres and a true ambassador for the art form known as music.
From my brother Dan: Once when I was a teenager he said to me, “where else do you have the chance to wear a tuxedo to work, and get to play music for a living, and to do the one thing that you really love?” This is something you should strive for, do what you love."
