I don't know if it's just me or what, but sometimes the odd back corners of music news and info catch my attention. The NY Times obituary of Paul Leka, who passed October 12th in Sharon, Conn. at the age of 68 was one such back corner obit.

Just saw it in the local Cleveland paper...it was a very small article. It should be noted that he has credits on the Northern soul scene, as producer of both Adams' Apples tunes on Brunswick.

That's very interesting, Doug. I still think Green Tambourine was a hauntingly brilliant pop record. Kiss Him Goodbye was a big hit for Bananarame in the UK in the eighties, and, of course, was part of the set recorded for The Earl of Funk.
