Keith H raised a question about Jesse Stone, which immediately made me wonder about one of the more compelling side-stories, that of his seemingly best-friend & manager, Jeff Brown, whom the movie would lead you to believe was somewhat unjustifiably fired.
I understand about movie editing where what on the surface seems to be insignificant info being sacrificed. But just as with the movie "The Five Heartbeats", sometimes that "insignificant" editing often leads to questions about events which transpires, seemingly coming out of nowhere as the movie progresses.
I've heard more than I want to about Joe Adams, but since I saw the movie, I've always wondered about Jeff Brown. Owning no books written about Ray, I had never so much as seen a picture of Jeff Brown until I saw Don Peake's website.
