I remember it like it was yesterday! They will. They have to! I just wished Ernie Harwell, my Dad and many others were here to see it. Go Tigers! Go Detroit!!!!

Actually they were down 3-1 in 1968. I listened to the 6th inning in a parking lot, stalling my arrival at a meeting involving the city I'm a councilman in. Great game. Like Lou Pinella said to the Mariners in 1995 when they were down 2-0 to the Yankees and facing elimination, "Take them one at a time. All we gotta do is win tomorrow." Win Saturday. Don't worry about game 7 until the time comes.
