Well here it is. I've always heard about it, I know I ran across this a while back
on ebay, so it hasn't sold. It definately is her handwriting. But how on earth
did this seller obtain it? Wouldn't Gordy keep the Bible for himself???

well...it could happen.I'm suspect of alot of stuff, esp. autograph type stuff on ebay.

I remember a JET magazine article on one of Berry Sr.'s birthday parties. It mentioned that Diana gave him a Bible, and had a photo of Diana and Smokey presenting it to him. It does look like the one in the ebay ad. I would hope that it wasn't stolen. Doesn't quite seem right.

I've tried looking at some other autographs by her, and I find it interesting that she uses the "Silberstein" name
here. Even when she was married to him in the 70's, I've never seen her use that name.

If Mr. Gordy's bible was stolen then shame on the person who took it. What a sinful wicked thing to do if this is the case.

The good book of John says.

Maybe she used her full name since it was such a personal gift. That said, it is a bit ironic, as I believe she had filed for divorce around the same time.

Diana is probably having someone sell it on her behalf. She may have caught the ebay bug from Candy Spelling.

I would try and return it to Mr. Gordy, he would probably offer a lot more for it.

say I got an extra couple thousand to buy it!

I hope JillFoster is right; that Ross is selling it; or maybe one of the Gordy's. Otherwise, I'm not sure I would want to buy this, not being sure if it was stolen.

I have a copy of Diana's address book from the 1970's......and it is only a copy. But every time I think of it, I kind of wonder about the morals of it; there's nothing much in it......Cher's #, Berry's #, Flo's #, doctors #;.........but no Mary's #.

I found the information about DR very detailed and very informative and interesting. Whoever is selling the Bible did a very good history of Diana Ross.

Actually it appears that they copied and pasted information from various websites, including wikipedia. Sorry Lorne!

Unfortunately, I highly doubt Diana or Berry is the one responsible for selling it. The unique ebay seller appears to
specialize in Movie and Political Memorabilia.

The BIBLE was presented to Berry's father..SENIOR and not Junior!!!
