IF you have not heard this before, it is unmissable. Taken from a BBC prog in 2007...

4 track to 8 track, James Jamerson moving from upright to electric bass, and general advancements in the evolving Motown sound. Stuff on the technology in the studios and the recording process. Examples of multi track recording in 1965....... Four Tops, Andantes, complex background harmonies... lots of examples of highly original and complex instrumentation and arrangements........ Bob Babbitt...fascinating stuff......

Fantastic to hear this. We had kind of an idea of what they vwere doing, based on the sound. But it's nice to hear the exact account and some of the details.
