Dixon was internationally known for his music and TV show. I remember him as being very professional, but fun loving at the same time. He well be greatly missed within the Gospel community and the world of music.

Jessy was one of the first contemporary Gospel artists I started to play on the radio followed then by The Winans, he always had such a warm personality, may He Rest in Peace.

"Well done my True & Faithful Servant"

Mr. Dixon was one of the "Light Brigade" singers of the late 70s and early 80s [[recording on the Light record label), along with Andrae Crouch & the Disciples, Walter and Tramaine Hawkins, and the Winans. This tune, later recorded by Randy Crawford, is from one of my favorite LPs by him.
