These songs are perfect for me to listen to all day at work. What saddens me is that I have two friends I would like to email the links to but they are so closed minded that they don't want to listen to unfamiliar music. [[What a shame.)

Also, Jealous Kind of Fella is by Garland Green and not the Intruders. I'm happy to see 3 of my homeys are on this list: Honey & the Bees, [[my closed minded friend Dennis used to date Nadine when they worked at the Philco-Ford plant together) and I went to school with 2 of the Ethics. Those Ethics songs remind me of the house partys we used to have and "slow dragging" to Sad, Sad Story. Thanks for the memories. Now back to listening...............

I've just listened to the first podcast and what a wonderful selection of tunes ..

I have about 6 of those songs in my collection [[ though I had to check with THE MANHATTANS and HONEY & THE BEES just to be certain .. I wonder what other treasures I have hidden away that I've not played in years ).

The highlight of it all for me though was the GENERAL CROOK tune "I'm Satisfied" .. I used to have the 7" of that on Wand and it was a firm favourite [[ until persons unknown decided that it should have a better home :[[ ) must have been the first time I was able to hear it in about 30 years, still sounds great.

Have you ever thought about mixing songs familiar to them with a few unfamilair tracks for these friends? That's always a good strategy for a music nerd to use on their less music crazy friends when you want to get them to hear some deep cuts.
